After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, he spent time working for companies like Getty Images, Regence Blue Cross, Blue Shield, and Climber.com. He joined the team at Notch8 as a partner in 2011 and spends his time working remotely from Portland. His passion for working with talented teams of developers and unlocking their creative potential is evident in interactions with him and we are thrilled to introduce him to you!

What is your favorite element of working at LEARN? The people, their stories, the mission
What brought you to LEARN? When you have a chance to do what you love to do, and expand how many lives you can touch in a positive way, you jump in head first, and figure out how to make that happen.
What is your favorite meal of the day, and why? Lunch, followed closely by dinner. People come together at those meals, and connections happen
Which living person do you most admire? Chelsea
If you could attend the concert of any musician/band (living or dead), who would it be? Phish, now and forever. Ok, maybe Leonard Cohen too. Now if they could just play together sometime.
What is your favorite thing about working in tech? It changes really, really fast, and to be successful is to be good at handling change.
What do you wish you’d known ten years ago about being a programmer/working in tech? “Blogging is just a fad”
